To Mr. Matulli, thank you sooooo much for Lio. I am 56 yrars old and had lost faith in most newspaper comic strips. In fact I had stopped reading them altogether. They just wern't that funny anymore. Until I startred to read Lio. Funny all the time and VERY funny most of the time. To "get it" one needs to read it everyday but once one gets it, it's impossible to stop. Again, thanks for once again, like when I was a kid, allowing me the joy of hitting the funnies first. As always...David Dale. If you don't get this, I hope who does passes it on to you.

This is a fan e-mail for Mark Tatulli.

Mr. Tatulli I am 71 and just love Lio. I have thought it a cartoon for adults, but I read a review saying it is for everyone especially the young.

At times it is edgy, funny, bazaar, and occasionally sad. It is unique among comics. There are times I have to read it a couple of times before I understand it and there have been 1 or 2 I haven't.

How did you ever come up with the concept for a comic like this one.

I wish there were more like Lio.
