Internet’s Only Animation-Exclusive Video Site Welcomes Submissions of Holiday-Themed Animated Shorts for $50,000 Competition
With the holiday season approaching, aniBOOM.com (www.aniboom.com), the only user-generated online video site focusing exclusively on animation, is seeking holiday-themed animation shorts submissions for its inaugural aniBOOM Awards 2006.

The first annual aniBOOM Awards will grant $50,000 in prizes, with winners judged by site visitors along with a group of internationally known leaders in the animation industry. In the final stage of the competition, movies selected by the judges will count for 30 percent of the vote, and audience selections 70 percent.

Besides holiday-themed films, aniBOOM.com is accepting submissions in such categories as: Funny, Drama, Music Videos and Experimental. Twenty five semi-finalists, five from each category, will be named on January 15, 2007. More information and entry details are available at www.aniboom.com.

aniBOOM.com currently features the largest collection of high-quality animated shorts on the Internet, featuring over 1,000 films from animators in 60 countries, in all forms including flash, 2D and 3D. aniBOOM.com is also an online community where aspiring animators can gain recognition and directly connect with animators with fans and industry professionals alike.
