(Orange County, Calif.) Neckties.com is debuting a limited collection of gorgeous silk neckties featuring the art and designs of contemporary Orange County artists. Costa Mesa, CA artist Leigh White is the first artist to be featured in this limited addition series.
This new, innovative artist’s series is the brain child of Shawn Marie Turi, Neckties.com’s Director of Corporate Sales. “Although we carry lots of traditional art ties, there’s so much creativity and such a proliferation of contemporary artists in Southern California doing such great work that it just made sense to embrace a way to get their art out there in an unusual and clever way such as neckties. Featured in the very first edition of the Neckties.com art series is au courant painter and Costa Mesa, CA artist Leigh White. She is an award-winning copywriter, graphic designer and illustrator. An ardent lover of pop-art, cubism, and the found items of her world, Leigh White has created a bustling collection awash in bright vibrant colors, offbeat humor, and eye-catching juxtaposition. “Not everyone goes to museums or art galleries to see art. By making silk ties with artists’ paintings on them, it is a very cool and modern way to infuse the world with great colors, truly original designs and style. It brings art to the people in a fun and functional way. To add value, each tie in the limited addition collection is hand numbered (1 to 100) and packaged in a beautiful couture wooden box bearing the artist’s logo, an artist card, hand signed by Leigh White along with a detailed biography is included in ever package.
