Mr. Zanetty,

I loved your King Kong cartoon. I'd like to see more of your work. I always need good texts to my books and classes. I teach Portuguese and Englsih at a university in Brazil. I write the material for these.
Thanks!

To Mr. Matulli, thank you sooooo much for Lio. I am 56 yrars old and had lost faith in most newspaper comic strips. In fact I had stopped reading them altogether. They just wern't that funny anymore. Until I startred to read Lio. Funny all the time and VERY funny most of the time. To "get it" one needs to read it everyday but once one gets it, it's impossible to stop. Again, thanks for once again, like when I was a kid, allowing me the joy of hitting the funnies first. As always...David Dale. If you don't get this, I hope who does passes it on to you.

This is very bad. Even if I'm at the bookshop, I won't even know it contained pirated art.

yep, can't argue the fact that there is rampart thievery on the internet. And the fans of cartoonists don't realize that their pilfering is putting the cartoonists that they admire at a disadvantage. What an irony. Still, many fans don't even know some of this stuff is illegal; they figure it's put out by the legitimate publisher. One fan wrote to me to compliment me on my work, which was obviously fake, and was shocked when i alerted him to the fact. He promptly went out and bought some real copies of my work... You'll always have some scoundrels who don't care. But it's up to us to try and educate the public -- it shouldn't fall on our shoulders to do it, but who else is going to?

Best to all.

Wow, Very Pro Caricature.
Cartooning and Caricaturing are two different skills.
Caricaturing human face or animal face needs a lot of study.
Caricature artists are always ranked at No.1 position.
Great Details.

This is a fan e-mail for Mark Tatulli.

Mr. Tatulli I am 71 and just love Lio. I have thought it a cartoon for adults, but I read a review saying it is for everyone especially the young.

At times it is edgy, funny, bazaar, and occasionally sad. It is unique among comics. There are times I have to read it a couple of times before I understand it and there have been 1 or 2 I haven't.

How did you ever come up with the concept for a comic like this one.

I wish there were more like Lio.
